Well here it is…
So I finally gave in to this tumblr hype. My first blog (via blogspot) that I had was a good start-up, but something that never really got running the way I wanted it to. It got a little too personal and while I like sharing parts of my life, some things should just stay in the privacy of your own home.
The goal of Take 2 will have a new feel to it and deal with broader topics than just the hardships that life throws at you. Over the past few years my passions have grown and have brought new interests that I will try to share in Take 2. I will focus on politics, current events, movies, life’s worries, family, and of course…my favorite topic of them all…food!
The name of this blog has multiple meanings. In the most obvious sense, it indicates that this is my second time attempting a blog. In the metaphorical sense, this is a chance for me to live a better life, my personal “Take 2.” I have gone through a lot of personal experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. Whether good or bad I am grateful for all of them as they have made me appreciate life so much more.
